As a matter of fact, I signed up for an MFL10 just last night. The draft started at 10:00am today (I live in Las Vegas, so Pacific Time Zone) and we have to make draft picks before the 8 hour clock runs out. It is almost 4:00pm as I write this, so the first drafter has roughly two hours left to make his pick.
So if I may ask, is this ok? Yes, he has two hours, but is it ok to keep the rest of us waiting?
I understand that we all have jobs and families (I love you honey!). And I do like to take a few minutes to consider all my options for my picks. But I find most of the gripes people make in these slow drafts, are about people who use up the whole 8-12 hour clock to make a pick. For those who are paying strict attention to the draft, the wait can be very irritating.
In my humble opinion, drafters should log in and make their picks when they get their email notifications, don't wait. The clock will run out on you and you may end up with a player you might not want. In the process, you'll piss off the rest of the drafters in your league.
Drafting is fun, waiting is not. Thanks!
